The Smoked Q team made it a couple of times to the 2021 Fort Wayne Ribfest. This was the 24th year, and after a one year hiatus we were able to partake in the activities and events. With both a weekday lunch and a weekend extravaganza the food, atmosphere and smells brought us back to years past.

The rib cooking competition was really fierce this year, with many teams showing off their skills and perfected recipes. The event was also a great opportunity to meet new people who share our passion for good food and to make new friends. Not to mention the live music concerts that kept us on our feet with their catchy beats.
But above all, what always attracts us to Ribfest is the amazing variety of ribs and BBQ dishes that are being served. From sweet and tangy to spicy and savory, each bite is like a flavor explosion in our mouth. We have tried ribs from many vendors, but our favorite is still the ribs from Big Daddy’s BBQ Shack. They cook it to perfection and the meat just falls off the bone.
We left the event with full stomachs and happy hearts, already looking forward to the next year’s Ribfest. But for now, we’ll just enjoy the memories and the delicious leftover ribs we got to bring home.
